"What happens to those who have no one?"
The Beginning of Aarambh
Our Story
Aarambh Foundation was not started as an idea—it was born out of a deeply personal and life-changing experience. In 2013-14, Pradeep Kakade witnessed a devastating reality when a close relative with advanced cancer was sent home with no further curative treatment possible.
"The patient was lying on a mat inside a small hut, almost abandoned. His wound had worsened severely. What troubled me even more was that due to fear and lack of awareness, his own family did not know how to care for him."
Determined to find a way to help, he researched and discovered Palliative Care. Despite not having a medical background, his persistence over two years led to formal training. In 2017, he left his stable job to dedicate himself completely to this mission.
❤ Sometimes, one painful moment can give birth to a lifetime of purpose. Aarambh is that purpose.
